The event brought together key members of the House AI Caucus, including Representatives Anna Eshoo, Bill Foster, Haley Stevens, Jim Baird, and Sean Casten.

A collaboration between IMPACT and IBM has produced INDUS, a comprehensive suite of large language models (LLMs) tailored for the domains of Earth science, biological and physical sciences, heliophysics, planetary sciences, and astrophysics and trained using curated scientific corpora drawn from diverse data sources.

Alphonse Sterling (ST13) gave an invited seminar presentation to the Space Science group at UNH, on 4/26/24. Sterling, who obtained his PhD from UNH, also had round table discussions with some of the current UNH students interested in careers in space science.
